Recent skirmishes of the MILF terrorists with the AFP while the peace talks are ongoing is disturbing. The audacity of their attacks and their seemingly brazen disregard to the laws of the land are a clear testament of their true character. MILF terrorists are TERRORISTS! Plain and simple. Like their abu sayaff comrades, their only motive/objective is power. Power over land, power over people, power over riches. Fighting for the Bangsa Moro people? That's a lame excuse to break-away from MNLF and continue on with terrorist activities! Their only intention is to prop themselves up past their rival MNLF counterparts. If their intentions were for the bangsa moro people, then they should have made ARMM effective by running according to the virtues of transparency, accountability, and public service. Instead they allowed ARMM to descend to its pits and continue on with their business of war. War is profitable, war is business and it gives riches to the MILF officers. 

Seeing that MILF is all about the money, then why is PeNoy blind and his subordinates idiots in not recognizing this? Peace? C'mon! They're the gangrenous limb that keeps Mindanao deeply infected with poverty! If they're really for peace then why don't they surrender their comrades who murdered soldiers and civilians with such barbaric monstrosity? Why don't they let the wheels of justice turn and give due punishment for those who murdered, pilfered, mutilated, extorted, and abducted? Why?

Simple answer, the hierarchy is in full knowledge of these acts and condones it! War is their business and it is VERY profitable!

As expected, PeNoy lost his balls again when confronted with issues of conviction and principle. Sugar coating Malacanan's pronouncements doesn't hide the fact that PeNoy FAILED to protect and uphold the law! This is also true for the PH gov peace panel who allow terrorists spit and piss pn their eyes and say "that's not polite". They represent the government for crissake! They should be hardliners with these terrorists! Instead they cuddle them as babies and slap them on their wrists for behaving badly. For the citizenry, it means PeNoy is soft on terrorists and murderers but wants the head of the Arroyos! WTF!

Take the case of the Ampatuans, Zaldy spewed the name of Arroyo and PeNoy is willing to bend over to accomodate him! What more for these masquerading terrorists?

MILF, as an organization, does not have the right to represent the Bangsa Moro people for one plain reason: they are TERRORISTS! Their business is to wage war for money. They don't care about the Bangsa Moro people, in fact, they even kill them with indiscriminate bombings! The military doesn't displace the Moros, it is the MILF that displaces them! Their armed struggle for money IS THE CAUSE of military involvement in their communities. Remove these terrorists from Mindanao and for sure peace will follow. It is not the military nor gov who caused instability, it is THEM (MILF, Abu Sayaff, CPP-NPA)! All of  them are terrrorists serving the higher purpose of providing money for the comfort of their commanders! Their ultimate purpose is to make their leaders RICH!

So, PeNoy and members of the peace panel, take off your blindfolds and see whats going on. Murder is not an isolated incident. Lawlessness is not a revolutionary cause. Greed for money, power, and land IS THE ONLY MANTRA OF MILF, ABU SAYAFF, and CPP-NPA! Stop coddling these terrorists and bring them to justice!

Rock & Roll also isn't rigid, true rockers transcend musical boundaries and genres and create their own mark without selling their soul. Rock & Roll is the voice of non-conformity, of independent thinking, of individuality, of expression without the pressure of fitting in. Rock & Roll never grows old, albeit it gets better with age. Rock & Roll, in every way, shape, or form, doesn't lose its identity nor it compromises its soul for any circumstance. Rock & Roll may fade today but for sure it will come back better! Like blues, soul, and jazz, Rock & Roll will always be here to immortalize the past, celebrate the present, and influence the future.

Imagine this, a burglar broke into your home with his band of merry-men and terrorizes your family while looting your prized earthly possessions saying that they own the place anyway because of some "ancestral right". That's how I pictured it when the official mouthpiece of the Pasig River Palace commented on the string of intrusions and bullying by the jaundiced foul-breath Marfanoids from up north. These intrusions are not only to us but to our neighboring ASEAN friends as well. The Marfanoid reason for doing such acts were, according to the emissary, "simply protecting their implicit territory". The map below is the Marfanoid's reference.

Is it possible that they feel THREATENED by other growing countries that they resort to intimidation and harassment just to get it their way? Remember, it is their great leader who aspired to destroy their own culture so as to embrace communism (i.e great leap forward, cultural revolution) and it is the same leader who fosters despots and megalomaniacs out of the blood and tears of their suffering people (i.e. pol pot, kim il sung). And for those who left the mainland would know how corrupt, brutal, and closed-minded their government is (i.e Tiananmen square, Tibet) and how they see themselves as superior over others (reminiscent of the third reich?) by way of pushing their agendas and threatening to roll over the floor and scream if they don't get what they want (short of destroying their playmates toys and giving them the finger while doing it).

With that said, ladies and gentlemen, would you allow this spoiled marfanoid of a brat bully us on our OWN backyard, pissing and shitting while siphoning off our scarce resources, with our supposed "Authorities" sit back and watch while saying "Hayaan mo na sila, pakikiusapan na lang natin sila".

Pervasive Ineptitude

Have you ever wondered why a traffic enforcer would flag you down when you change lanes while making a turn and accuse you of "swerving" and would immediately ask for your license and feel if its "thick enough" to buy him and his cohorts lunch. After haggling for your license you see a Jeepney suddenly veered towards the curb from the inner lane (mind you the thoroughfare has four lanes for each side), stopped on the middle of the 3rd and 4th lane with its back side sticking out to supposedly "protect" its interest in hauling unsuspecting passengers for their ride to hell. At the same time you see a motorcycle with 2 back-riders cruising along at 30-40 KPH zigzagging between sidewalk vendors and pedestrians walking AT THE SIDEWALK. Also at the same time a pissed-off bus driver chases another bus driver who cut him off at the previous intersection with a bravado of a teenager who recently had his student license and is high on solvent, rugby, and what-have-you. The chase is reminiscent of the old action movies wherein the hero is chased by his arch-enemy with its hapless passengers clinging on for dear life. Also at the same time, a group of knuckleheads decided to play Russian Roulette  while crossing the street amidst this chaos while using the foot-bridge as cover for the sun..

Its like watching "Cloverleaf" and "Vantage Point" with the intensity of WWE without the scripted acts.

If I were to make sense of it all, I think the traffic enforcer is deeply concerned for your safety so much so that he picked you out of the chaotic boulevard just to point out your supposed "violation" and expect to be handsomely rewarded for his efforts. The rationale for the violation was (this is verbatim according to him) "Bawal ho mag-swirbing dahil mababangga kayo nang mga dyip o bus na dumadaan dito".

It seems that among all the races that inhabit this Earth, Filipinos are the only ones who suffers from pathologic amnesia. Why? Well, according to SWS this guy is ranked 7th among the top 10 Filipinos that people considered as national heroes surpassing Ramon Magsaysay, Manuel Quezon, and Lapu-Lapu.

To sprinkle salt to an already gaping wound, a slew of congressmen also abide to the idea in  the name of RECONCILIATION AND UNIFICATION!!!

Got to use my Bialetti 2 cup mini express recently...
I had a blast when I made my first brew, kinda disappointed when there's no crema but nevertheless it still tastes good.
Like my Moka Express, it takes time and effort to produce this magical elixir. Perfect for a lovingly prepared Sunday cup with a typical Sunday spread and your favorite broadsheet.
Another advantage of this mini express is that it warms up the cups while heating up the pressure chamber at the same time. This is due to its small size relative to the size of the stove burner.
Taste is a bit milder than the traditional espresso hence the undertones are indistinguishable but the dominant flavors still stand out.
The best quality of this brewer is its bravado. The way the espresso spurts out of its nozzle and into awaiting and albeit hungry cups and finishing off with a bathe of steam to keep it hot is an art form in itself.

"Rough night boss?" The newspaper boy asked.
"No, it was way smooth..." Detective Santos sarcastically replied, his head still aching from that blow the other night.
"Sorry about Jones sir, he took a bad hit. You know who did it?" asked the newspaper boy.

"Damn it...Why would they hit Jones? Why didn't they kill me? Jones' is disposable, he has no real connection to anything except for being a runner. Why...."
A loud knock breaks his thought.
"Santos open up, this is Santiago"
"Come in Captain" Detective Santos quipped after opening the he door.
"One question, what happened? Why did your asset got hit and you don't? Frankly, you should be dead by now just because you're wearing a badge." Captain Santiago blurted while standing on the door frame.
"Look, the meet is discreet. Nobody knew about it. Jones was about to spill the beans on Romualdez and his network when they took us out. Next thing I knew my head is bleeding and Jones is dead. Didn't got the chance to glance on our attacker." Detective Santos said.
"Forget Jones, you have any lead on Mario?" Captain Santiago asked.
"All I know is he's the ringmaster for Romualdez. Nobody really saw him before but one cop claims he knew Mario and saw his face. Too bad he went AWOL, spooked? Definitely." Detective Santos quipped.
"You better find him before they do. Make this case air-tight and jail their sorry ass." Captain Santiago said before stepping out.
Detective Santos went back to his chair and slumped.
"Both cases had hit a wall and there seems to be no way around it. Jones is dead, Pepe is AWOL, no other viable leads for either case. All I know is that they're connected to Romualdez's case. It has to be...." Detective Santos thought, "I got to find Pepe. I got to make sure he's ok."

Vacation

"Your honor", the usual introduction for men of distinction and authority. Key virtues that are sorely lacking in our elected officials. Remember the phrase "You're not allowed to talk because you have no reputation!" That phrase came from a SENATOR who, not long ago, was CONVICTED of PLUNDER (together with his CONVICTED FATHER) and made an about "angelic" face after being pardoned by their sworn enemy! That "about-face" was made as quick as a drag queen transforming from George to Georgina ! Not to mention the fact that he is not exactly qualified to hold public office (go figure)! The problem with elected officials is that they hide behind their titles and pretend like they're a reincarnated messiah out to castigate everyone that stands in their way. It's as if the law applies to everyone but himself! Just watch the latest senate inquisition and witch-hunt! Remember, the committee's function is to perform inquiries "IN AID OF RE-ELECTION!" They have no power to prosecute or penalize wrongdoers (that power resides in the judiciary). From that "Moro-Moro" show you'll easily see senators who DON'T belong there (either by their mental inequities or simply being an asshole). They throw their questions to respondents with no sense of decorum nor class. They just throw it AT you, right on the face! They masquerade as a "De Kampanilya" lawyer grilling a witness to a pulp but really are fools trying on clothes not fit for them! Simply put, these eggheads stick out like a smelly pile of dung infested by flies and worms! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the general is innocent nor guilty but if your honestly searching for the truth then there is no point in berating him nor piling insults at him just because he is addressed as "your honor" and bestowed the title of "senator"! To put this in perspective, they are not HONORABLE! They squander our hard-earned money like they owned it! They lord over us as if we're his subjects and obliged to kneel before him and kiss his feet! They don't listen to the cries of their constituents but instead listen to the devil sitting right next to him! If I we're that general sitting in front of this imbecile, my statement would be as follows:
"It is YOU, Mr. Estrada, that has no reputation. The only reputation you have is that you're a third-rate actor riding in the dying popularity of your equally corrupt father to get your sorry ass elected as senator! Do not impose upon me your "authority" as a senator because I do not acknowledge that you are! In my eyes, you're a convicted plunderer that got a free "get out of jail" card because of your rotting last name! You are NOTHING compared to the other senators sitting next to you. In fact, you are the OPPOSITE of what you purported to represent! YOU DISGUST ME!"- On cue, I will stand up and walk out of the room.
Dramatic...but nailed it dead straight!

The Final Solution

Tired of the usual rhetoric our so-called "righteous politicians" profess when it comes tocorruption? Here's an idea...

Politicians and government officials charged with corruption shall be deemed GUILTY until proven otherwise...and the burden of proof for their innocence shall rest SQUARELY on the accused shoulders.

For the accusers, They MUST provide solid evidence that can stand solidly against the court's rigorous scrutiny. If they were found to be false, then THEY will suffer the same faith as the accused.

These measures ensure that the accused cannot manipulate the legal system to turn it in its favor or use sloppy police/investigative work to dismiss the case.

It also prevents the accuser from wrongfully accusing an innocent person lest he suffers the same faith as the accused.

Rationale: Politicians and government officials EVERYWHERE are perceived to be corrupt, no matter what color, race, or creed. Honest politicians and government officials only exist in movies and idealized novels/stories.

If Penoy applied this idea, maybe he'll finally lead us to his "matuwid na landas".
